Job Purpose

A senior brand manager is in charge of creating a brand strategy and maintaining its development by building brand awareness in the marketplace, providing clients with high-quality services, and adhering precisely to the target audience while meeting client needs

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the brand's product launch (from development until market deployment)

  • Create campaigns for the brand to increase its awareness and enhance its positioning across all markets.

  • Develop the brand marketing plan and activity calendar along with the yearly marketing budget in coordination with the group marketing manager.

  • Prepare and plan all BTL and ATL campaigns in coordination with the advertising agency, and follow up on the execution.

  • Recommend suitable tactics and courses of action based on market analysis and findings.

  • Respond to internal data requests and analysis reports in a timely manner.

  • Collect market data (e.g., competition prices, distribution channels, industry sales) through research (information from industry  associations, statisticians, and marketing experts).

  • Develop a research plan, analyze research results, and offer advice on marketing activities.

  • Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights.

  • Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies.

  • Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications, and sales estimates.

  • Keep an eye on market trends, consumer markets, and competitors' activities.

  • Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities.

  • Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions. • Perform other duties as assigned

Competencies

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or any related field

  • Master’s degree is a plus

Experience

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proven track record of successful brand development and management

  • Strong understanding of the creative process and ability to provide creative direction

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills

  • Highly organized with strong project management skills

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
