Accounting & Finance Manager

Job Purpose

Responsible of all the Accounting Department, Financial reporting, Internal Auditing 

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Manage, develop and monitor daily accounting, billing operations and banks/cash reconciliations.
  • Manage and monitor accounts receivables and bad debt. 
  • Manage legal cases in coordination with the company legal advisor. 
  • Approve on sales orders with credit limit and overdue issues.
  • Monitor promotion lists and agreed-upon offers by top management. 
  • Manage and monitor monthly payroll (Tax on salary, NSSF calculations) in coordination with the HR department
  • Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Manage and conduct inventory counts and stock adjustments.
  • Monitor inventory transactions and inventory adjustments.
  • Manage and monitor money transfers to foreign suppliers.
  • Authorize and sign suppliers and third-party cheques and cash payments
  • Develop standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for the accounting department
  • Develop financial and business strategies to improve ERP system (Microsoft AX) and reporting system (QlikView) in collaboration with the IT department. 
  • Work with external auditors to ensure accurate timely closing and reporting at year-end and quarterly basis. (Payroll tax, NSSF, VAT, Income tax) 
  • Develop and monitor the budget as per price structure of each SKU in coordination with the Marketing department.
  • Develop Frameworks for the calculations of the Sales Team and Area Sales Managers monthly commissions and provide monthly commissions and incentives calculations for the Sales Team, Key-Accounts Team and Wholesales Team
  • Provide cost accounting and financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements) when required from finance department. 
  • Stay up to date on changes in financial regulations and legislations in coordination with the tax advisor
  • Control trade spend and provisions
  • Prepare monthly debit notes to suppliers.
  • Control the team daily tasks, follow up on pending requests, and ensure transactions are executed on a timely manner and in compliance with company’s policy
  • Ensure proper end month and end year closing activities
  • Train and coach, the accounting team 
  • Submit monthly report to Group Finance Director 
  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • BA in accounting and finance or equivalent, CMA-CPA is a plus


  • 10 years of experience in Accounting Management position (FMCG)
