Job Purpose

Responsible for defining and implementing the company’s financial control strategy in conjunction with the group team to deliver the overall key business objectives.
Expected to control the company’s financial figures and completing an accurate reporting and analysis that support both governance and business decision making.

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Plan and directs the implementation of cost control methods and cost accounting activities.
  • Prepare monthly actual vs standard costs, and Investigates costs that appear inconsistent with previous experience.
  • Coordinate cost work before taking monthly physical inventory.
  • Ensure accuracy of the stock related data on the system.
  • Gather, analyze, and prepare financial information - monthly and yearly.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts.
  • Review and establish procedures to improve efficiency and costs.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to identify value-adding opportunities.
  • Prepare comparison cost analysis for decision making.
  • Manage and direct cost dept. to review and establish product costs and supervise special cost studies.
  • Periodically review allocations of O-H costs and resolve cost issues.
  • Interface costing and payroll functions.
  • Support and interface with other department managers and contribute to the commercial evaluation of plans and projects.
  • Ensure timely and accurate labor, material, O-H, energy, waste, and OEE reports.
  • Study and review the full manufacturing cost, and recommend improvements and cost-saving initiatives 
  • Study and recommend the routing for the proper coordination to the manufacturing flow
  • Calculate and prepare the plant's financial forecasts on a monthly basis, a detailed budget for the fiscal year, and an updated revised budget each quarter.
  • Establish labor and overhead standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job requirements


Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or any related field


3-5 years prior FC working experience 

Knowledge, Skills& Abilities

  • Outstanding communication and Interpersonal skills 
  • Strong IT skills, covering ERP based accounting & Finance systems and Excel.
  • A qualified Accountant/Financial controller possessing post-qualification experience in an FMCG or similarly high-volume manufacturing organization.
  • Ability to drive an innovative approach to problem solving with the ability to challenge and improve existing processes.
  • Flexible to respond to ever changing business needs and able to prioritize different functional requirements, with the commitment to complete taken on responsibilities

Work Environment

The job requires sitting long hours in the office, commuting between different company’s locations, and occasional traveling
