Job Purpose

The GFM performs effective risk management and plans the organization’s financial strategy. His primary goal is to protect the company’s revenues and profits by achieving full financial control and sustainable growth.

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Responsible by managing staff, for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, helping to drive the company’s financial strategy and needs.
  • Manage relationships with investors and support top management in designing and implementing appropriate financing tools. 
  • Design appropriate financial due diligence procedures and perform financial assessment of these projects.
  • Ensure efficient financial monitoring and reporting including but not limited to: expenses and revenues, reviewing and upgrading existing procedures, ensuring production of appropriate financial reports for internal and external clients, etc.
  • Handle the cash flow management of the group by maintaining healthy cash flow at all times within the set and agreed cash flow strategy.
  • Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary.
  • Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company.
  • Manage the insurance contracts and ensure they cover the business risks.
  • Research and analyze financial reports and market trends.
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
  • Monitor the accounting entries and ensure high quality accounting by implementing international accounting standards in compliance with the Group accounting strategy.
  • Provide guidance and direction to the accounting department to ensure proper and accurate bookkeeping and control of transactions.
  • Assess the Accounts Receivable risks through regular impairment tests and inform accordingly the commercial team in order to take necessary actions.
  • Monitor regularly financial and business transactions to identify risks and communicate them to the concerned managers and senior management.
  • Oversee the development of accounting policies and procedures, and ensure proper management decisions implementation.
  • Oversee the external audit mission to ensure audit report issuance within timelines, and lead on the action plan to address the management letter qualifications and recommendations.
  • Oversee the periodic tax and fiscal declarations to ensure accuracy and delivery before regulated submission dates.
  • Support the commercial team in managing the relations with suppliers by providing them with the latest accurate data and needed financial analyses to facilitate decisions and business workflow
  • Control suppliers’ accounts such as debit notes, A&P, AP accounts, etc. by ensuring that reconciliations are done periodically and debit notes are issued and paid on time.
  • Manage and sustain a professional relationship with suppliers and customers through on-going coordination on financial matters (audits, margin discussions, etc.), and follow-up on their requests/concerns while keeping the best interest of the company.



  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus 
  • CMA, CPA is a strong advantage


  • Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 8+ years’ experience in executive leadership positions
  • Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning
  • In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. AX)
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
