Job Purpose
Assist R&D and plant departments in product development, line commissioning, daily process analysis & suggestions for continuous improvement. In addition, Process Engineer acts as a focal point in process optimization & process/lines technical details.
Duties & Responsibilities

Support planning, developing and ensuring proper implementation of planned development projects supporting corporate goals & objectives.

Ensure the process works at the optimum level, to the right rate and quality of output

Understand production/ quality/ process reactions taking place
-
Develop work instructions and line SOPs.
-
Lead activities, phases or defined projects in coordination with the department team members.
-
Make observations and take measurements directly, as well as collect and interpret data from the other technical and operating staff involved
-
Participate in corporate management meetings and projects brainstorming sessions. Provide inputs and support setting project work plan, phases and projected activities.

Monitor/supervise the work of employees in direct contact with the process and assist with training

Prepare studies and reviews upon request to support project phases. Analyze data and conduct on-the-job observations to capture input and to confirm assumptions.

Support projects linked to the implementation of new equipment, technologies, systems
-
Lead and follow up on building “Corporate Manufacturing Platforms” covering structured technical description and specifications for all DIFCO Group Equipment and Products

Analyze processes and report any deviation in processes (Line capacity, equipment performance)

Start, run & update processes

Suggest line balancing schemes for new products
-
Design new equipment as required and redesign the production process where needed

Design, modify and oversee processes to guarantee maximum output with minimum defects in the production line

Define process system construction specifications, process equipment specifications and datasheets

Support the development and delivery of technical trainings required in the implementation phase.

Develop and/or present project deliverables such as presentations, proposals, documentations, progress reports, etc.

Analyze every detail and step in the production process to reduce costs, increase productivity and optimize the production line

Ensure adequate documentation supporting the development and execution of any project.

Draft policies, processes and procedures from operations perspective in coordination with relevant parties.
Competencies
Education
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering is a must
-
Electro-mechanical engineering background, Food Industrial or Chemical Engineering Background is a plus
-
Ability to understand technical data related to equipment/ lines
-
Ability to handle new equipment commissioning
-
Software knowledge: AutoCAD, Visio, Ppt and Excel
Experience
-
1 to 3 years of experience in industrial engineering field.
