Job Purpose 

The Regional Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective trade and communication marketing strategies to promote products or services within a specific region..

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement regional trade marketing strategies and budgets aligned with overall business objectives

  • Prepare comprehensive briefs to ensure clear communication of brand objectives by market or Region

  • Work closely with sales teams and distributors to align marketing strategies with sales goals

  • Provide support in the development and tailoring of sales plans along with their respective BTL/ATL activities

  • Enhance brand visibility through the development, execution and distribution of effective point-of-sale (POS) materials, display

  • Develop and tailor merchandising tools and planograms to ensure proper in-market execution

  • Coordinate with agencies and vendors to ensure the production and distribution of marketing materials.

  • Plan and execute regional promotional campaigns to drive sales and customer engagement.

  • Conduct market analysis to understand customer preferences, competitor activities, market trends, & prices

  • Prepare the MSL & planogram per channel per country per brand

  • Develop marketing programs specific to distributors’ markets

  • Consolidate internal price control program for all products, implementing and administering pricing alignment

  • Provide training to sales teams and trade partners on new products, marketing strategies, and promotional activities

  • Ensure that the sales force is well-informed about marketing plans

  • Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective implementation of marketing plans

  • Prepare regular reports on business performance and marketing initiatives (QMR reports)

  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns

  • Oversee BTL/ATL communication strategies and campaigns

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure proper marketing executions

  • Manage and supervise related Trade marketing executives

Competencies

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field

Experience

  • 5 to 7 years of proven experience in trade marketing, preferably in a regional or territory-focused role

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of marketing principles, market analysis, and promotional strategies

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions

  • Familiarity with the retail and distribution landscape in the region
