Job Purpose

Manage, supervise and coordinate all storage activities throughout the warehouses, including waste and stock inventory control of all items

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Manage and lead the distribution strategy 
• Supervise, motivate, organize and encourage the teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met
• Control stock and processes orders
• Take necessary precautions to protect warehouses contents against loss
• Conduct performance appraisal programs, and analysis of training needs
• Oversee and / or conduct training for existing employees
• Supervise the handling of incoming and outgoing delivery records
• Keep the stock control systems up to date and plans future capacity requirements
• Ensure health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment
• Participate in establishing work schedules and ensures that the schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly
• Inspect physical condition of warehouses and equipment and prepares work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement of equipment
• Responsible for auditing and organization the warehouse incentive program
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Competencies

Education

• University degree in Business Management or equivalent

Experience

• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience
